| MachineryWatch.Com,
Inc. is located in Louisa, Virginia (between Charlottesville and
Richmond) and offers permanently installed, continuous machinery
vibration analysis and monitoring and diagnostics systems for any
facility using rotating machinery. Our machinery surveillance
systems continuously measure the vibration of the machine and can
detect subtle changes in the vibration that are a result of wear
or damage. Trends and analysis data are available on site on a
customer's network PC, or Machinery Status Reports may be reviewed
by the customer on a secure website. Fax transmissions, email, or
surface mail, may also be used for receiving machinery updates
depending on the customer's wishes.
Condition
monitoring using vibration sensors is the typical application for
the systems MachineryWatch sells. MachineryWatch systems will work
with any type of vibration sensor available. However, vibration
monitoring and predictive maintenance is not the only application
for these systems. Almost any sensor can be connected to these
systems for measuring temperatures, pressures, sound levels,
voltage, amperage, flows, ultrasonics....the list goes on and on.
When configured with these various types of sensors this MAARS
monitoring systems are ideal for process monitoring and quality
control applications.
MachineryWatch
systems from MAARS, Inc. are currently being used for process
quality monitoring in a non-woven fabrics application using a web
process, seismic monitoring of a hydroelectric dam, condition
monitoring of hydroelectric turbines, testing of new product
prototypes for a large compressor manufacturer, and for final
quality check and dynamic balancing of industrial fans before
delivery.
The
16 channel MAARS Model 5000 has been sold by MachineryWatch for
product development testing to a large industrial compressor
manufacturer, and a large producer of advanced energy systems
(generators, fuel cells, etc.). MachineryWatch also uses this
system for machinery and process diagnostics and product
development testing using vibration and acoustics sensors in
consulting applications. It is an excellent platform for Operating
Deflection Shape (ODE) analysis, and other transient data capture
applications like turbo machinery coastdown tests.
MachineryWatch
supplies sensors and sensor cables manufactured by CTC. CTC
products are very high quality and offer the finest warranty in
the industry. IF a CTC product ever fails simply ship it back to
CTC and it will be repaired or replaced. No matter the reason. No
matter the age of the product. No questions asked. Period.
